In KLCC

"What am I doing here?" thought Elina, while looking at the crowd around her, while she was sitting in the food court in KLCC.

Everyone seems to be having a good time, chatting, eating, laughing.

But why don't I feel the same?

I just feel like.. there's something heavy.. pressing against my chest..

"Elina? You want anything?"

She turned, facing a specky, wide-eyed guy, with a cap on his head. Clad in a simple t-shirt and jeans, he was holding a tray with a plate of spaghetti in it.

Elina just smiled but turned her head from side to side, signaling no.

The guy continued on talking, while eating the spaghetti, but somehow Elina couldn't really concentrate on what he was saying.

Her mind continued to playback what happened.

How she had a huge fight with Razan on that day.

How she took Razan's handphone and slammed it againts the wall.

How she ran all the way to the taxi stand, with Razan running after her, shouting out her name, and dozens of on-lookers staring wide-eyed at the drama unfolding in front of them.

What exactly happened that day?

What exactly did he say?

I couldn't remember. Did I even give him a chance to explain?

Who was Sarah?

..

..

..

..

..

..

..

..

"Elina, our movie is starting in 15minutes. Shouldn't we get going?" the specky guy asked.

She smiled, took her bag, and proceeded to walk along side the specky guy.

He continued on talking about something she wasn't familiar with.

While walking towards the escalator, she saw Sushi King.

She remembered Razan, his smile, his scent, how he talked..

SHIT!

That fucking bastard is contacting another bitch for God's sake!

She felt so angry all of a sudden.

Why did he contact someone else?

Am I not good enough for him?

What did I do wrong?

Without her realising, suddenly, tears started to collect in her eyes, and her vision seemed blurry.

She seems to be walking with no sense of direction, just walking, alongside the specky guy.

She saw couples walking, laughing, holding hands.

Why are these people so happy?

..
..
..
..

Can I ever feel that way again?

Why do I feel my chest getting heavy?
I can't breathe..

..

..

..

..

..

"Elina? Are you okay?"

Elina looked up.

Her eyes watery, and tears started to stream down her cheeks.

"Why are you crying? Is there something I did wrong?"

She smiled, a forced one, and again turned her head from side to side.

The specky guy took out a packets of tissue from his pocket, and handed it to her.

"No, it's okay" she said, and wiper her tears off her face with her hands.

There was black ink smeared over her hands.

Shit... my mascara is smearing up..

"Urm, if you're not feeling well, we could just see this movie another day."

Elina proceeded to turn her head from side to side again.

However, her tears seem to flow more. She was crying harder than before.

"It's up to you. What do you want to do now?" the specky guy asked.

Elina looked up, and stared at the specky guy straight in his face.

more drama

technical part:
sudden change in ur writing technique. it's as if u want the readers to feel the impact of how the time slowly passes by. if dat is the case, u're doing fine but losing some off the '..' might provide better overall impact on the reading.

as a reader:
i dig the storyline! cant wait for the next installation. lots of potential :)
